Inge is a French citizen but was born in Cologne in Germany. She grew up in South Africa. Later, she studied in the United States, in Minnesota and Arizona.

Back in France, she became a student of Maître Claude Bouscau, former prize winner of the “Grand Prix de Rome“. She became part of his group at the Beaux Arts de Chaville.

In 1982, she went to the “Ecole Supérieur des Arts Appliqués” in Paris and there after, she entered the “Centre des Métiers d’Arts” in Perigny.
